Tavis A. Bragg (TavisB)
23, Male
CA
Hometown:
Wolfville
About Me:
I am a sociologist and philosopher who is intent on studying climate change, ideology, economics, and politics. I am arguing that the very stance of environmentalism is flawed and will lead to environmental degredation as it is not an ideology in itself but rather a systematic response to climate change that cannot possibly see us through. Social ecology (or eco-socialism as some groups are labelling themselves) allied with indigenous movements worldwide is the only way we will see real change.
Gender:
Male
Issues that matter to me:
new media, informed citizenship, climate change, indigenous movements, ideology, green & left politics, social movements, social theory
